Equine Wall Art

Equine Wall Art
Equine Wall Art By Marilyn Hageman

While browsing for equine wall art to add to my own collection, I came across these two beautiful pieces.

The first piece is truly an amazing work of art, capturing the moment in incredible purity of the horse. It holds an element of feminine nature, yet in colors that almost have a raw masculinity about them. When I stare at this painting I find myself creating a story in my own head about this moment in time captured on canvas.

The second painting (pictured below), to me, depicts the essence of masculinity in both form and color. Equally as artistic as the first painting, yet doesn’t draw me in to it. I can see this one in a study or office environment.

I think both paintings would be beautiful choices.

Equine Wall Art Creator Marilyn Hageman

Marilyn Hageman holds both a BA and MFA in painting from Colorado State University. Her artistic influences of Monet and Mary Cassatt are illustrated in her paintings. Intrigued by their speed and motion, she began to paint horses at the early age of three. Later on she broadened her subjects to wine, flowers, gardens, and landscapes. Marilyn now works and resides in Illinois, where her works of art line the walls of her studio, depicting horses or wine or a villa on a hillside. You can find Hageman’s fine work in galleries and private collections throughout the United States.
